Welcome to Community in Partnership (PFG)
A new way to connect, contribute, and collaborate with the College —on your terms.
In 2024, our College launched the Community in Partnership initiative in response to feedback from families who wanted to be more involved in school life—but found it difficult to commit due to the demands of modern life. Let’s face it—no one wants to attend a meeting just to walk away as the new secretary or treasurer!
Community in Partnership is our fresh take on parent engagement. It’s a P&F that isn’t a P&F. There’s:
- No executive committee
- No fundraising
- No working bees
Instead, it’s a flexible, inclusive model that allows parents and carers to be part of the conversation in ways that suit them—whether that’s online or in person, regularly or occasionally.
This group plays a vital role in shaping decisions around community engagement and improvements that benefit all students at the College. While there are no formal roles, we do require a quorum of parents from different families (attending online or in person) at Community in Partnership Events to vote or provide feedback on key decisions and projects.
Our goal is simple: to bring families together in a way that’s realistic, respectful, and responsive to the pressures of everyday life.
We look forward to you joining the conversation—in whatever way works best for you.
